Bridgewater-Raynham/ West Bridgewater gymnasts end in 4th place at New England Championships

Following a clinching their state name on March 3, the group qualified to participate within the unique local competitiveness, finishing fourth.

Just the top three gymnastics clubs from each condition in New England are asked to participate within the competition. The final moment Bridgewater-Raynham qualified was 1999.

They obtained 142.2 — their second-lowest point total all time.

Star freshman and all around gymnast Olivia Keyes had three drops – twice on column, once on-floor, Cudworth said. Others had uncharacteristic falls.

The emphasis through the period of the group was on winning their state name, Cudworth said. The New Englands was simply an additional bonus.

Girls did prosper in the areas.

Sophomore all around gymnast Olivia Kmito accomplished a lifetime career high-score on bars.

“Olivia Kmito had one of the entire year of her greatest contests,” Cudworth said. “She’d a season and vocation high at 9.55.”

Senior captain Julia Chase won a lifetime career high 9.35 on-floor.

Cudworth said his team was satisfied with all the higher level of stuff a few of the leading clubs in different states done at New Englands that will aid as determination to keep working.

Simply because they are state champs does not mean they do not have to keep working.”
